Hello I am sorry your friend has cancer and is terminal. I have lost many  loved ones to cancer. If she has been working can she collect unemployment? She can apply for ssdi but it may take a while to come through.

 in response to sad person...   If she sick, and can not work, she can apply for government support and she will get all the support from the government also. She doesn't need to worry, and just take care herself that all she has to do.

My friend has had cancer for 7 months she had breast removed.went to work in 3 days.now she is told shes terminal.through all the kimo & radiation shes been working.someone has to pay bills.she got 4 children is there any one out there who can help her pay rent &utilities so she can stay home until the end & enjoy her children.shes a very strong person but it would be nice if she could relax with her kids.
